Really loved the Haloumi tacos! Something I've never thought to combine before! The shawarma fries were good - the cut of fries were unique and I have never seen that kind of style before. Kinda looks like a potato was cut in half the long way and then sliced in a medium thickness with a mandolin from the way the pieces curl slightly. Something to keep in mind is that there is no bathroom in the restaurant you can use (keep in mind it's a small space overall) BUT the person working was so kind to let me use the sink behind the counter to wash my hands!! Seriously appreciate that as I ordered foods that required my hands to hold. I'm still thinking about those tacos. Such a good treat and everything tasted so fresh!

Stopped by Evette's after visiting the Green City Farmer's Market with a friend, and it was the perfect spot for a hearty lunch to fuel us for the rest of the day. We ordered the garlic feta fries, a hashbrown sandwich, and the flaky malawach wrap with gyro. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was definitely the malawach wrap. It was a little messy to eat, but the layers of flaky dough combined with the seasoned gyro meat made it totally worth it. The garlic feta fries were crispy and flavorful, and the hashbrown sandwich was a satisfying comfort food classic. The service was friendly and quick, and the ambiance had such a fun, vibrant energy. The lively music and colorful, California-inspired interior made the whole experience feel upbeat and relaxed. Next time, I'd love to try the gyro fries and one of the other wraps or brunch bowls--they all looked so good. A solid spot for delicious, filling meals with great flavors and a great vibe. Looking forward to my next post-farmer's market trip.

Holy crap this was a bomb breakfast sandwich. I came with some friends, we all got something different, and we all couldn't believe how good our food was. We left the farmer's market with decision paralysis and headed to Evette's instead. Highly highly recommend!!!!

Ordered the halloumi egg sandwich which was much larger than I expected. I enjoyed the avocado in it which made it seem more fresh and less heavy. The sandwich had good flavor, but I wish they included more of the fig jam. I would definitely want to come back to try their wraps.

The breakfast bowl was highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. I decided to add bacon, and it was the best decision. I took this delicious bowl to the beach, and it was the perfect idea for a relaxing afternoon. The bowl had a delightful sweetness from the onions and a generous amount of potatoes and avocado, which is always a plus in my book. I will definitely be returning for more! A heads-up if you're planning to eat inside: the space is pretty small and fills up quickly, but overall, it's a fantastic spot. Highly recommended!

Good: incredibly delicious and fresh! Amazing portion Ambience: very small cafe with a few sittings, no waiter service. You order and eat. Good is so good that ambience doesn't matter haha

While exploring Lincoln Park, we stumbled upon a little place that served Mediterranean cuisine. The place was small, with a couple of bar stool tables, but it was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. We ordered the falafel bowl, which was very good. The falafel was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the accompanying salad and couscous were fresh and flavorful. The staff also recommended the Halloumi taco, which is a cheese taco. While it was not as impressive as the falafel bowl, and much smaller than we expected, it was still a decent taco.

I've been to Evette's a few times now, and there food is really good! I think particularly anything that comes with the fries, the pink sauce, and cheese. The pitas are just ok - I would personally go for the bowl. And I honestly think that the halloumi is better than the meat because is that good. During my last visit, I got the steak pita which was good but I'd get the bowl in the future. So much flavor. Things to note is that there is no public bathroom, but they do have several tables inside. During my most recent visit on a nice Saturday at lunch time, the tables were mostly full, but we were able to find a spot.
